I am a lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method, at the London School of Economics. Previously, I was a Junior Research Fellow in Philosophy at The Queen's College, University of Oxford. My doctoral degree is from the University of Cambridge (I was supervised by Jeremy Butterfield).
I have been awarded the
2011 Cushing Prize in
History and Philosophy of Physics. My areas of specialisation: General philosophy of science, philosophy of physics, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of biology
My areas of competence:
Logic, philosophy of language, philosophy of
economics, epistemology, history of philosophy (in particular history of
analytic philosophy and British empiricism)
